day 16.
There is no way I’m going to get caught up. I am still a week behind!
We didn’t have class until the afternoon on this particular day so I was able to have the morning to myself and do what I wanted to do = The British Library!
No one else wanted to go, so I had a lovely morning just wandering around the library. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly...
day 15.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to wake up in a comfy bed, but I did get to go have one last breakfast with the fam before they left. After we ate, mom, dad and David actually walked me to class so they could see the UD centre/center.
We then said our goodbyes and they went back to the hotel to pack up.
After class I went back to the hotel for lunch and a much needed nap. I’ve been...
day 14.
Day 14 was another busy day… trying to fit so much into such a small time period while the family was here was hectic to say the least. Since I’m now exactly a week behind, I’ll try to keep things short and sweet to get up to speed.
After breakfast, we took the bus over to the Tower of London since the fam didn’t want to leave London without taking a double decker bus...
day 13.
Day 13 started fabulously because I got to wake up in an extremely comfortable bed instead of my thin spring-y mattress in the flat. After a shower (with water pressure!) and breakfast, David, Aunt Maureen and I headed over to Portobello Market in Notting Hill. I had been hearing about it for a few weeks and I was glad I was finally getting to go.
Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side...
day 12.
Day 12 started off the same as any other day, except that I went to meet my parents at their hotel for breakfast! Since they were staying on some fancy club floor (because of my dad’s hotel points), we got free breakfast every morning in the lounge and snacks throughout the day.
After breakfast, we headed over to the tube station to get them travel passes and made our way to Westminster...
day 11.
Time for the fam to cross the pond!
As per usual, the day began with breakfast and class which then turned into a trip to the grocery store for my new favorite - HUMMUS! - and then some time in the flat before dinner. Some of the hotel girls had planned to go to happy hour in Leicester Square before they went out, but it just turned into dinner and wine at ‘La Bella Italia’ (Yes, Twi...
day 10. (finally!)
Alright, I’m back (and hopefully better than ever).
Day 10 was last Wednesday and it is currently Monday (er, Tuesday in London), so I am almost a week behind!
I woke up to more London snow that morning. It still blows my mind that I happen to be here during the coldest Winter in thirty years and that all this snow is completely abnormal for London.
We were all pretty tired from the...
tired.
I am so unbelievably behind on my daily recaps… going to sleep now, but hopefully I can get caught up in the next two days!

day 9. (finally!)
Day 9 was an adventurous day. As usual, we had class in the morning and then went back to the flat for lunch. I went out for a walk and met up with some of the other girls. We decided to just hop on a random double decker bus and just go where ever it took us. We drove all over just taking it all in and seeing parts of London that were completely new to us.
After we got home and relaxed for a...
Happy Thursday/Grey Day!!
It’s officially Thursday in London, which means FAMILY COMES TONIGHT !!! I’m so excited… and I just can’t hide it.
However, this also means that Grey’s comes back after not being on for what feels like forever and I can’t watch it. I need to find a way in the next few days or there will be serious issues.
Days 9 & 10 will hopefully be posted tomorrow...

day 8.
I need to start thinking of wittier ways to begin these posts, but for now I’ll just jump right in.
We went to HARRODS! Cue the oohs and aahs…
We had class in the morning (boring) and then I went back to the flat for lunch (which I burned because I was getting my hair ironed - legit ironed - by one of my flatmates). After my friend Alex and I met up with the girls from the hotel, we...
day 7.
I’m not gonna lie, day 7 was booooooring.
I didn’t leave the flat all because I was doing work for class.
I was very disappointed, but I got ahead on the work for the week so I can do next weekend’s work before my parents come!
If you were expecting my first Sunday in London to be exciting or interesting, sorry to disappoint.
Better, exciting things to come tomorrow!

day 6.
OH NOES! I’m two days behind. I’ll try to catch up now while I wait for mom and pops to vid chat me.
Day 6 (also known as Saturday was a lovely day of shopping). We made our first trip to Oxford Street and the biggest TOPSHOP! It is impossible to put into words how big and amazing this store is. It is literally mecca for anyone who loves to shop.
Started off the day with my typical...
day 5. part two
Found some time to continue day five…
After we left the Tower of London, we took the tube and decided to go see (drum roll…) PLATFORM 9 3/4 !!!!!! Anyone who knows even a little bit about Harry Potter knows this is where Harry, Ron and Hermione go through the wall to get to the Hogwarts Express. When we got off at King’s Cross we had to ask a few people how to get...

day 4.
Yesterday was a really relaxing day. Had class in the morning and then came back to the flat for lunch. After lunch I went for a walk to find my parents hotel (it’s so close!), got a coffee and went to the grocery store for some more food.
A little bit later I got ready and went to an early dinner with some of my flatmates before our play, The Power of Yes. We took a double decker bus (my...
day 3.
Yesterday was my favorite day so far! (Not that it had great competition, but still) Anyway, we had our second day of class and then I came back to flat for lunch and made, what else? Spaghetti! I think I’ve had spaghetti and sauce for three meals already, but I’m getting off topic.
After lunch I met some of the girls staying in the hotel and went to Covent Garden for a little...
los locos.
Freaking fabulous night in London. I guess since it’s 2:14am I should get to bed.
Goodnight world.

day 2.
Yes, this is getting posted a day late, but I’m trying to write about each day so I don’t forget anything.
Yesterday was our first full day in London! I was still very homesick, but things are getting progressively better. We had our first class at the very cozy UD London Center with Professor Halio. After class I came back and made some pasta and then went to the British Museum with...
homesick.
miss home. i know i shouldn’t. trying to distract myself with other things.
on the bright side, pictures to come later!!
finally made it!
Well, after an hour and a half drive to Philadelphia and an almost seven hour plane ride, I finally made it to London! I also had (and am still having) my first experience with jetlag. Boo. No fun. (Been awake for over 30 hours! eeek! Will be going to bed VERY soon).
After getting dropped off at our flat and unpacking, I went grocery shopping and to lunch with some of the girls in the group....

holy. shit.
I leave for London on Sunday. I’m leaving the country basically by myself.
